    Description

    An introduction to organ chemistry. Topics include structure, nomenclature, physical and chemical properties of various classes or organic compounds, and their chemical reactivities and syntheses. Organic reactions will be treated in a systematic manner, with emphasis placed on their mechanism and energy. Three hours of lecture and three hours of labortary per week.
