    Description

    An introduction to organic chemisry. Topics will include the structure, nomenclature, physical and spectral properties of various classes of organic compounds and their chemical reactions and syntheses. Organic reactions will be treated in a systematic manner, with emphasis placed on their mechanism and energy. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week.
