    Description

    This module surveys the history and philosophy of the U.S. criminal jsutice system by providing adult learners with an overview of crime, criminals, and causal theories; the jurisdiction of local, state, and federal criminal justice agencies; the functioning of the court system, sentencing, prisons, and parole. This module also examines court specialty areas of criminal justice such as juvenile delinquency, drugs and crime, and an exploration of the future of criminal justice.
