    Description

    Prerequisite: MATH 1351
    This course introduces the students to the skills and practices in the field of statistics required to understand basic statistical principles and analysis. Topics to be studied include introduction to statistics, descriptive statistics, elementary probability theory, random variables and their distributions, sampling distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, chi-square tests, regression and correlation, introduction to analysis of various and non-parametric tests.
