    Description

    Explorations of current applications of computers in mathematics using updated mathematical software packages. Symbolic, numerical and graphical computing will be applied to various mathematical problems normally viewed as beyond the scope of the course in which they are first introduced. A variety of programming techniques, such as procedural programming and function programming will be emphasized.
