MUSI 1101 01 Applied Instrument I (Piano)
 

This course provides specific lessons on instructional techniques and various level performance of piano. Survey of all scales, cadence patterns, and chords; Czerny and Hanon studies; Bach, Two and Three-part Inventions, Preludes and Fugues from Well-Tempered Clavier Book, etc.; Mozart or Beethoven Sonatas; Representative piano literature ranging from the Baroque to the contemporary era will be emphasized.

Elementary studies and pieces (6 hours of practice weekly.)
