    Description

This course is designed to enable the students to understand and appreciate the complexity of the development and growth of children from toddlerhood through adolescence. The traditional chronological stages provide the framework, while emphasizing the principles of providing the proper home, school and societal environments for maximum human development. Areas of concern will be biological, psychological, cognitive, and social needs of children with implications for meeting the needs of culturally different youth at home and in school. (Same as Education 332).
