Description
This course focuses on the emerging role of biotechnology and its impact on human society and the global environment. It will also provide students with knowledge about avarious basic concepts and techniques in molecular DNA technology, genetically modified organisms, biotechnology and intellectual property rights and protection. The current status and future of biotechnology will be discussed. Three hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory per week.
