Description

A course designed for non-native English speakers who do not show reasonable proficiency in English to carry on normal college-level work, or score less than 500 in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). This course will take students from speaking little or no English at all to being able to fulfill basic communication needs including enabling the student to manage their daily routines at the college and the world around them. Course components include cultural elements, vocabulary, readings, grammar, idioms, and pronunciation.
