Description

Prerequisite: ENGL 2350
Linguisitics is the scientific study of human language. As part of the scope of this course, emphasis will be placed on how human language differs from animal communication. The structure of the English language will be studied in context with the development of other languages. The sounds, the structure, and the semantic properties of language wil be studied along with the dialect variations of language.
