Prerequisite: SPAN 3315 with a grade of at least "C" or the consent of the instructor.
Careful study and analysis of selected poems by major figures in HIspanic poetry. The period covered include modernist movement to the present. Particular attention is given to the following authors: Ruben Dario, Octabio B. Julio Coriazza, and so forth.
