    Description

    Prerequisite: SPAN 2340 or 3315 with at least a grade of "C" or the consent of the isntructor.
    this course explores texts from Spanish America that focus on the black experience with an emphasis on critical issues concerning ethnicity and gender. It examines the implications of who writes in Spanish America and the question of authenticity.
