    Description

    Prerequisite: SPAN 3315 with at least a grade of "C", or permission of the instructor. Survey on representative prose (works) from various genres are read as well as Lazarillo de Tormes and literary criticism demanded by or devoted to them. Among the authors studied are Fernando de Rojas, Jorge Montemajor, Miguel de Cervantes, Francisco de Quevedo, and Maira de Zayas.
